Hip throw against wrist grab
Demonstrator: Mark
Class: Adults
Level: Advanced
Strategy:
Here is a good hip throw technique for when opponent grabs forearms.
First you grab your opponent's forearm, whilst you break out with your other arm against the opponent's thumb side of his grip.
Next grab the opponent's other hand; so now you have hold of both your opponent's arms.
You then bend your knees and turn around as you put your opponent's arms on your shoulder.
Straighten and lift your opponent with the strength of your legs, as you use your hip for more leverage.
This technique can be used as a big hip throw that will flip your opponent right over.
